Instrumentation includes: Piccolo in Bb, Eb 1, Eb 2, C 1, C 2, Bb 1 , Bb 2, Flugelhorn 1, and Flugelhorn 2.

Both flugelhorn parts include 8vb parts intended for 4 valve instruments. It can also be played on 3-valve without the 8vb parts. 

At tempo, the work lasts about 6 minutes.
